DVSS GROUP was responsible for the logistics to support the Ministry of Health in the creation, development and coordination of the control room for the Covid-19 vaccination.
Principali risultati e contributi:
- Provided strategic guidance and critical support to the Ministry of Health through the coordination, analysis and monitoring of the supply chain, logistics and humanitarian situation in eSwatini, ensuring effective decision making and efficient responses to infrastructure-related challenges and socio-political.
- Planning, coordination and oversight of the Covid-19 vaccine supply and logistics plan (AstraZeneca, J&J, Pfizer), including ultra-low cold chain aspects for Pfizer.
Developed contingency mechanisms to mitigate any interruptions and barriers to Covid-19 vaccination.
- Established a solid collaborative relationship with the Ministry of Health, despite political tensions in the country, and ensured the successful implementation of the national vaccination dissemination plan.
- Guaranteed adequate capacity and standard of equipment for the correct execution of vaccines (syringes, refrigerated boxes, etc.) and manage the operational plan of the distribution program with USAID, UNICEF, OMS
- Conduct periodic assessments with field visits to ensure adequate quality control system and supply chain monitoring to understand and mitigate potential issues .
